Cold day in some areas, fog in most places in Uttar Pradesh

Cold day conditions prevailed at some places in Uttar Pradesh where the weather remained mainly dry.

Dense to moderate fog occurred at most places in the state, according to the MeT office.

Night temperatures fell in the Bareilly and Meerut divisions and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state. In the Bareilly division, the night temperature was below normal, the weather department said.

They were above normal in Faizabad and Allahabad and were normal in the remaining divisions of the state.

Lowest minimum temperature of the state was 3.5 degree Celsius recorded at Nazibabad.

According to the MeT department forecast, weather would be mainly dry and dense to moderate fog would occur at few places over the state.

Cold day conditions would prevail at isolated places.
