Ghaziabad (UP): A scuffle broke out between journalists and security guards of Uttar Pradesh politician D P Yadav as they thronged his home to get information about his daughter Bharti Yadav, a key witness in the Nitish Katara murder case.
A large number of media personnel, including TV crews from Delhi, gathered outside his Raj Nagar residence to have a word with Bharti as news spread of her arrival from London.
However, the private guards of Yadav opposed the filming of the residence. They entered into an argument with journalists and came to blows with them. They also forcefully removed a couple of scribes who had entered the premises.
No case has been registered so far in connection with the incident despite media-men approaching the police. Additional police personnel were posted outside the residence, a police official said.
According to Bharti's lawyer SC Bhuttan, she is in India and is set to depose before a court in Delhi on November 29.
