The toxic smog cover continued to hover over Delhi on Thursday morning. By Wednesday evening, the air quality was in the ‘severe plus’, or emergency, category.
The Delhi government is considering introducing the odd-even car rationing scheme for a five-day period from November 13 to tackle the killer smog that continues to envelop the national capital. Calling it an “emergency situation”, the Delhi High Court has also asked the government to consider the option of “cloud seeding” to induce rainfall artificially.
