New Delhi: On the 50th day of the Aam Aadmi party government, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal re-launched the anti-corruption helpline in the national capital.
A dedicated helpline for reporting cases of corruption was one of the major promises made by AAP in its manifesto. Volunteers have been trained to run the 24/7 helpline and attend calls in English and Hindi.
They will also direct callers on how to conduct sting operations. Kejriwal stated that numerous string operations have failed to take him down and reiterated his no-tolerance policy against corruption.
"I allow phones and other devices in my office. People have conducted sting operations against me but I am still standing. If I am ever proven to be corrupt, I will also go to jail," Kejriwal said.
