New Delhi: The Delhi Police have recovered a white Santro car involved in the shootout in the Green park area on Monday.
The car was recovered from Lajpat Nagar in Delhi last night. Police say the car owner's son had lent the car to one of the gang members, but was not sure if he was aware of their motives.
In the 15-minute gunfight between the police and the gang of bank robbers four criminals were arrested after sustaining bullet injuries while two out of the five others who managed to escape in the same car were arrested late in the night. The encounter left 3 policemen injured.
On Monday, a posh residential colony in New Delhi saw an out and out cops and robber s encounter with the Suleiman gang of 2005.
In a thirty minute operation, four members of the dreaded Satte gang of bank robbers were shot and captured by the Delhi police in South Delhi.
