Dr Goutam Meher of Junagarh CHC in Kalahandi and Dr Brahmananda Dash of Bargarh Hospital faced the action.RAIDS: Garg has ordered that a central squad be constituted to conduct raids periodically in the districts and take action against doctors who remain absent without leave. The squad has to submit district-wise reports to the department. The Health Department has long been facing flak for inadequate number of doctors at the peripheral health centres.
