Forest guard goes missing, police begin probe

A forest guard on duty at Palkot wildlife sanctuary went missing since Friday in Gumla district, police said on Saturday.

Vishwanath Singh, the forest guard, was reported to duty but mysteriously went missing. An FIR has been lodged in this connection by the Forest Ranger, Akhilesh Prasad Singh.

The police have begun investigation to trace the guard.
