Health Minister asks medicos to be polite

VELLORE: Health Minister V S Vijay inspected the Government Pentland Hospital on Saturday and advised medicos and paramedics to be more “polite with patients”. During an interaction, he advised hospital authorities to  provide good treatment to the needy and keep enough stocks of medicines and related equipment.He wanted them to come up with a proposal for the improvement of facilities at the hospital and assured that all efforts would be taken to modernise the hospital. Earlier, he had received as many as 197 grievance petitions from the people of his constituency.
