Hyderabad: A 16-year-old girl has accused her school principal of raping her in Rangareddy district of Andhra Pradesh. A student of the Park Wood School, she has registered a case with the police. The principal is being interrogated by the police.
In another such incident in Bharuch, a complaint has been filed against a school teacher for alleged rape of a minor girl who later became pregnant in Ankleshwar town.
The complaint has been filed against one Avinash Pandey, the school teacher in the Maharana Pratap school where the girl used to study in class 8, they said.
The incident came to light when the girl started bleeding after consuming some pills given by Pandey, police said. Following the bleeding the girl told her mother about how Pandey had allegedly raped her in April this year when she had gone to take tuition from him at his residence.
After Pandey came to know about the pregnancy, he forced the girl to consume some pills to terminate the pregnancy, following which she started bleeding and the entire incident came to light, they said.
The girl's mother has lodged a complaint against Pandey at the Ankleshwar GIDC police station, police said, adding that a search was on to nab Pandey who was absconding.
