BANGALORE: Police Commissioner Sunil Agarwal has denied report about him building a house illegally about using a politician’s favour to continue as Mysore City Police Commissioner.He said the house was constructed after prior permission of the government.“I am not facing any charge. I had given an explanation to the then DG and IG Ajai Kumar Singh for taking assistance of a few constables who had come to Bangalore prior to their departure to Mysore. They were asked to prepare the venue for the house warming ceremony and were paid from my pocket for their food.”Agarwal said he did not avoid his transfer through a politician’s help. He said it was the government’s decision conveyed by the DG and IG. He clarified that the government and department had retained him for maintaining law and order during Dasara.
