Abbas takes some time off, from directing John Abraham who is performing a daredevil stunt in broad day light in the busy streets of suburbs, to talk to us.
The stunt involves Abraham unveiling the poster of the film, Jhootha Hi Sahi, by climbing a huge bill boarding. The police, security were in place but Abbas still seemed very anxious.
To ease his tension, we joke with him that now that its reported that John's butt is insured, he can do any stunt. The director bursts into laughter. "Oh yeah, I have heard of that one. His butt being insured that is. I notice that the insurance amount is increasing day by day as various news channels are airing the news," he says with a smile.
Ever since John just mentioned in an interview that he is planning to insure his butt, a lot has been speculated about the insurance amount.
The director says, “The rumour started with an insurance amount of Rs 10 crore, then it was 50 crore. The other day a news channel was claiming that his butt is insured for Rs 100 crore. That’s five times bigger than my films budget!”
Jhootha Hi Sahi is Abbas Tyrewala’s second film as a director, the first being the super hit Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Ya. John Abraham is paired opposite Abbas’s wife Pakhi Tyrewala in the film and it is slated to release on October 15.
