HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is all set to conduct written examination for selection of junior lecturers on Saturday at five centres including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Warangal.As many as 1.43 lakh aspirants from across the state are vying for 1,108 posts. The candidates can download the hall-tickets from the APPSC website. There will be two papers accounting to 450 marks and an interview for 50 marks. The general studies paper will have 150 questions each carrying one mark and the subject paper will have 150 questions each carrying two marks.The first paper (general studies) will be held between 10 a.m and 12.30 p.m. and second paper (subject) will be held between 2 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. APPSC had issued notification for junior lecturer posts in November 2008, but it has been postponed twice due to Telangana agitations and over Free Zone issue.
