Kerala: CPM starts relay hunger strike against price rise
CPI (M) has began a fast in about 1,400 centres across Kerala protesting against the price hike of LPG and other essential commodities.

Thiruvananthapuram: The main opposition CPI (M) has began a fast in about 1,400 centres across Kerala protesting against the price hike of LPG and other essential commodities. Near general hospital in the state capital Thiruvananthapuram, it was TN Seema MP who held the fast.

The party has not given a clear idea on when the strike will end or if this is an indefinite strike. They said that it will go on and depending on the each leaders health another will take charge like that of a relay fast.

They are also demanding the withdrawal of the decision to make Aadhar cards mandatory for LPG subsidy.
