Last batch arrives in Chennai

CHENNAI: Sixteen survivors of the cruise liner Costa Concordia arrived safely in two batches through Friday at the Chennai International Airport. According to MoEA sources, after Thursday’s first batch, the second lot arrived in Chennai by Emirates Airlines EK 544 at 8.10 am.The last batch of survivors, which arrived by Emirates Airlines flight EK 546 at 8 pm, were again received by the officials.The MoEA officials had arranged for special counters for all survivors to complete their immigration formalities.
