Man stabbed to death

ALUVA:  A man was stabbed to death at Edayapuram Junction, near here, on Saturday. Jayakumar alias Jayan, 40, son of Chandran, Chakkalackal, Edayapuram was stabbed fatally allegedly by his cousin.The incident occurred at 7.45 p.m. Though the injured was rushed to Karothukuzhi Hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.Pushpakaran, 41 son of Kumaran, elder brother of victim’s father Chandran, was taken into custody in this connection. According to  the police, previous enmity was the cause of attack. Locals said that the immediate provocation was a dispute over property. The body has been kept at Karothukuzhi Hospital mortuary.
