The admissions to the MBBS course for the year 2012 at the Medical College, here would begin at 8.30 a.m. on August 6 at the Old Auditorium of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, informed the principal in a statement issued here on Saturday.
The admissions would continue on August 7 and August 8.
The students should be accompanied by their parents. They should carry with them originals and one copy of a list of documents with them.
The documents they should produce include the admit card and allotment letter given by the entrance commissioner, the mark list and pass certificate of class X, class XII; transfer certificate; course and conduct certificate; original receipt from SBT for remitting fees; certificate from registered medical practitioner regarding immunisation against Hepatitis B, MMR and chicken pox; a medical physical fitness certificate given by a government doctor not less than the rank of an assistant surgeon; passport-size photographs (six); amount remitted for university registration; certificate to prove date of birth; eligibility / migration certificate for students who have qualified from other states or those who qualified Plus-II, CBSE and ISC exams; a hundred rupee stamp paper for the bond and the mark data sheet of the entrance exam.
Students should register at the registration counter as soon as they arrive.
