TTD Trust Board chairman Kanumuri Bapi Raju on Wednesday inspected several core places on Tirumala and interacted with pilgrims regarding amenities being provided to them by TTD.
The three-hour long inspection commenced at the central reception office, where the chairman instructed officials to increase the number of cottage allotment counters, so as to reduce the waiting hours for the pilgrims.He also ordered officials to streamline the queue system.
Later, he visited Sudarshan choultries and directed officials to immediately take up repair works in some of the rooms where it was urgently needed.
He also inspected the old Kalyana Katta at the Sudarshan choultries and appreciated the free services of Kalyana Katta Srivari Sevaks who were doing tonsuring services to the pilgrims.
