New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in US in March.
According to the Pakistani media, a meeting is likely to be held on the sidelines of a nuclear summit hosted by US President Barack Obama in Washington.
Sharif and Modi have both accepted Obama's invitation to attend the summit on March 31 and April 1. This will be their first meeting following the Pathankot attacks and David Headley's revelations about the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
In 2015, Modi paid a surprise visit to Pakistan and Sharif. The two Prime Ministers held a one-and-a-half hour meeting at Sharif's Jati Umra residence in Lahore.
The visit came more than two weeks after Modi and Sharif had an unscheduled meeting at climate change talks in Paris.
