New Delhi: It's yet another glaring example of how badly sportsmen are treated in our country. India's National Archery coach Limba Ram lives in a garage in Jaipur.

The three time Olympian was asked to vacate the house of Tribal legislature Babulal Kharadia in Jaipur and shifted into the garage. Limba had been living in the MLA's house for the last two years.

An Arjuna awardee in 1991, Ram represented India in three Olympics. At Barcelona Olympics, he missed the medal by one point in the 70-meter segment.

He helped India finish fourth in Beijing Asian Games in 1990. He equalled the world record in Beijing Asian Championship in 1992 in 30-metre event to bag a gold medal.

He was recently appointed the coach of the national team for the 2010 Common wealth games in Delhi but hasn't still recieved the appointment letter.

Born in Udaipur district of Rajasthan, Limba Ram had already demanded that talents should be picked from rural areas and send them for coaching to better places like Tata Academy in Jamshedpur and Army Sports Institute in Pune.

What's your reaction?
