Auto fares across the state have been revised with the minimum fare now being set at Rs 16 for the first 1.6 km. The state government announced the revision on Wednesday. Transport Commissioner will grant time for setting up of digital metres according to revised tariff. Meanwhile, approved tariff cards indicating the existing and revised fares will be exhibited by the auto drivers.
