Onam Fair 2011 Inaugurated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Transport and Devaswom Minister V S Sivakumar inaugurated ‘Onam Fair 2011’ organised by the Handicrafts Development Corporation of Kerala at the SMSM Institute, Statue the other day. Councillor R Harikumar presided over the function.An exquisite range of handicrafts and handloom products from across the country are being showcased as part of the annual fair. Kerala’s ethnic products like ‘Aranmula Kannadi’ and mural paintings figure among the highlights of the exhibition. A discount of 10 per cent can be availed on all products bought at the fair.The Onam Fair will conclude on September 8.
