TALCHER: Talcher will have a new talent to showcase. Besides being known for the NTPC plant, it can proudly hold up Lipsa Bharati, the only girl student from Orissa, who stood second in the national-level science seminar in Delhi recently. Lipsa would be on her way to attend an international conference in Poland shortly, being organised to commemorate the centenary of Madam Marie Curie receiving the Nobel prize. “I feel proud to represent not only India but also my State in an international event. I owe my success at the national seminar to all my well-wishers and hope to do well in Poland,” said Lipsa.Earlier, Lipsa, a student of class IX in Talcher Thermal DAV School, topped the State-level seminar this year, which facilitated her entry to the national level seminar where she stood second.
