NEYYATINKARA: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said that UDF Government was fabricating stories against the CPM and using the police to provide wrong information to the media on RMP leader T P Chandrashekaran’s death. Speaking at a campaign rally of LDF candidate F Lawrence here on Sunday, Pinarayi alleged that the news about statements attributed to the CPM leaders in custody, were false. ‘’The police and the UDF Government are spreading lies. The CPM leaders in custody are being brutally beaten up by the police. CPM has made it clear that it did not have any role in the Chandrashekaran’s murder. In the backdrop of the Neyyatinkara election, the UDF is purposely trying malign the party by levelling false charges against the CPM,’’ he said.
