VHR to tour North Andhra, Kakinada

HYDERABAD: Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao will commiserate with farmers in Srikakulam district who fought against setting up of thermal power stations in their district. Rao will visit the areas where Nagarjuna Construction Company and East Coast Energy had proposed to set up plants.During his 4-day visit, he will also visit Anantagiri and Araku in Visakhapatnam where tribals have been protesting against bauxite mining, Gangavaram port and NTPC Simhadri power plant, SEZ of Brandix, Kakinada’s SEZ and the port.
