VS should quit: Hassan

KASARGOD: KPCC spokesman M M Hassan said here on Sunday that Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan should quit his post in view of the FIR registered against him for bestowing land to his relative in Kasargod.“If VS is sincere in his stand against corruption, he should set an example for others,” Hassan told mediapersons. He added that if there was any conspiracy against VS in the land deal, it would be from his own party. “His stand that the case was politically motivated is an attempt to wriggle himself out of the situation and his efforts would not succeed, ” he  said.
