Why cant Lanka allow probe, asks Jayalalithaa

CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Thursday slammed Sri Lankan Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse for stating that there was no use in talking about war crimes now and that the important duty was to rehabilitate the Tamils in the island nation.  “By his very statement, the Lankan Defence Secretary has indirectly accepted that his country had committed war crimes. If Lanka is clean on this issue, why can’t they accept the demand for an international investigation?” Jayalalithaa asked.
