Mumbai: Ram Gopal Varma says that recreating the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, which claimed 166 lives, for his film was terrifying. "Just shot the Taj massacre of 26/11. Merely recreating it felt terrifying. Can't even imagine what the victims would have undergone," Varma tweeted Monday.
The movie, being made at a budget of Rs 40 crore, went on floors in March. It aims to bring forth every aspect of the dreadful attacks in which 166 people were killed.
Varma reportedly wanted to shoot some portions at The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, which was one of the key spots of attack, but he was reportedly denied permission to film there.
'Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story' delayed
It seems Vivek Oberoi's bad luck continues. Now his film 'Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story', which was scheduled to release in October, will now hit the screens at a later date.
"'Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story' movie shifted for later date. So please wait for new dates for music and movie release. Will announce in September," tweeted Kumar Taurani of Tips Industries Ltd.
He became an overnight sensation after playing a gangster in 'Company' and 'Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story' will see Vivek as a street-thug. It also features actress Neha Sharma, last seen in 'Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum'.
Ayushmann runs on Mumbai streets to keep fit!
Looking fit and fine is a must for every actor, including Ayushmann Khurrana. But since he is unable to take out enough time for his gym routine, he found a novel way - running on Mumbai streets.
Now, whenever the 'Vicky Donor' actor wraps up his day's shoot for Rohan Sippy's film, he makes it a point to run from Bandra to megastar Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow in Juhu, covering an approximate distance of eight kms.
Once he is done with the running, he gets into his car and goes back home.
"It takes him roughly 25 minutes as the roads are fairly uneven in parts and sometimes he manages to reach there even before his car due to the crazy traffic," said a source.
