BANGALORE: Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Vishweshvara Hegde Kageri, Primary and Secondary Education Minister, participated at the second anniversary celebrations of Shalegagi Naavu Neenu (You and I for the school) at a government school at Rajankunte on Tuesday morning.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said, "Henceforth, I will visit taluk schools and colleges once in a month. Shale Gaai Navu Neenu will be continued next year as well."He also advised parents to send their children to schools.

Commenting on Shalegagi Naavu Neenu programme, Minister Kageri said such programmes are initiatives for better education. He also mentioned that parents were supportive of English medium schools at hobli Level.

Yeddyruppa advised the parents not to let their children fall prey to bad habits like guthka, smoking or drinking.
