HYDERABAD: Reprimanded by his father for coming home late daily, a degree student ended his life by jumping into the Gandipet lake on Tuesday. The youngster’s body was fished out from the waters on Wednesday.V Sravan Kumar (20), was a resident of Narsingi and was studying degree first year in Gandikota business college. On Tuesday night, he returned home around 10.30 pm and his father Inna Reddy reprimanded him. Due to his father’s scolding, Sravan walked out of the house. He did not return since then. During the early hours of Wednesday, locals found the body of a youngster in the lake and informed the police. The body was identified as that of Sravan Kumar and his parents were informed. The body was shifted to Osmania general hospital for an autopsy.
