Perhaps the first Bollywood celebrity to speak openly about Salman Khan's controversial 'rape' comment, actor Aamir Khan said it was an 'insensitive' comment to make.
Aamir Khan was asked to comment on the controversy during the poster launch event of Dangal on Monday morning. The actor said, "“I wasn’t present when he made the comment. I feel going purely by the media reports that I have been reading which quotes him as saying it, I feel what he said was rather unfortunate and insensitive."
The actor was asked whether he would give his friend, Salman Khan any advice to which Aamir stated, "Who am I to advise?". The actor said he hadn't met Salman since the controversy broke out.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan had few days back maintained a diplomatic stand on the issue and said, that he himself makes inappropriate comments and is no one to judge.
Bollywood celebrities have been receiving severe criticism over their stoic silence on the matter.
