Actor Legend Saravanan Collaborates With Director Durai Senthilkumar For His Next

Following the success of Garudan, director Durai Senthilkumar is all set to begin work on his next project. According to reports, the upcoming film will star actor Legend Saravanan in the lead role and has officially gone on floors. The director formally confirmed the news on his social media accounts, releasing photos of the actor’s makeover for the film.

The post was shared on his Twitter handle yesterday and has till now garnered 271.8K views. Further details about the film regarding the plot and the cast will be revealed soon.

Legend Saravanan made his debut with the 2022 film, The Legend. The action film, directed by JD-Jerry, starred Legend Saravanan in the title role alongside Urvashi Rautela, Geethika Tiwary, Prabhu, Vivek, Suman, Yogi Babu, and Nassar as supporting actors. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj, while the cinematography and editing were handled by R Velraj and Ruben, respectively.

The film has been mainly shot at various locations abroad, apart from Chennai, Pollachi, and the Himalayas. The film received negative reviews from critics and became a box-office bomb.

Durai Senthilkumar’s latest film, Garudan, received positive reviews from critics and the audience. The film stars Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, and Soori in the key roles, with Roshini Haripriyan, Sshivada, Revathi Sharma, Samuthirakani, Vadivukkarasi, RV Udayakumar, and Mime Gopi in supporting parts.

Senthilkumar initially started his career as an assistant director to Vetrimaaran before making his directorial debut with Ethir Neechal (2013), starring Sivakarthikeyan, Priya Anand, and Nandita. The film, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, was released on May 1, 2013 to critical acclaim from critics, for which Senthilkumar was awarded the Vijay Award for Best Crew in 2014.
