How Mark Zuckerberg Reacted When His Daughter Said She Wanted To Be The Next Taylor Swift

Mark Zuckerberg’s daughter aspired to be like Taylor Swift. In the latest episode of the Acquired podcast, Meta’s co-founder engaged in a light-hearted conversation about his daughter, August. The seven-year-old mentioned her desire to be like the pop sensation during a family outing to the Eras Tour. The 40-year-old, who is married to Priscilla Chan and has three kids, said he felt compelled to bring his middle child back into reality.

In the podcast, Zuckerberg described his conversation with his second-eldest daughter. The founder of Facebook was considering the guidance he would offer to anyone wishing to launch and expand their own company. This subject reminded him of August telling him she wanted to be just like her favourite pop artist.

“You know Dad, I kind of want to be like Taylor Swift when I grow up,” the daughter stated after they attended a Swift concert, according to Zuckerberg. The IT tycoon swiftly shot back, “But you can’t. That’s not available to you.”

Although he didn’t explain why he thought this, his reply conveys a deeper teaching about being unique and following one’s own path.

Meanwhile, his daughter responded with promptness, “Alright, when I grow up, I want people to want to be like August Chan Zuckerberg.” Zuckerberg responded with pride, “Hell yeah. Hell yeah.”

Even if Zuckerberg subtly changed his daughter’s objective, it is still evident that he adores Swift. In July of last year, he, along with his children, went to the Grammy winner’s California Eras Tour event. Zuckerberg showed up dazzling and wearing friendship bracelets, much like the rest of Swift’s fans. He spent the evening dancing with his kids and his wife Chan. He even shared a picture of himself with gemstones on his face along with the remark, “Life of a girl dad.”

The Meta CEO allegedly paid a hefty sum of money to secure his family a box suite for the renowned performance. According to the New York Post, a suite at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium may accommodate 22 people and cost up to $50,000.

Zuckerburg and his wife have three daughters: Maxima (8), August (7) and Aureila (1.5 years).
