After intriguing fans with still posters and musical teasers, the trailer of much-awaited Jagga Jasoos is finally here and it gives a mix flavour of Disney positivity, Tim Buron's absurdity, and Bollywood's emotions. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif the motion trailer gives a complete feel of live action Disney adventure.
Jagga Jasoos is a musical, thus the trailer is less on dialogues and more on background score, lyrical lines, and emotions of the actors. The interesting trailer is completely relying on a stammering Ranbir Kapoor's antics, his expressions and of course a beautiful companion in his journey, Katrina Kaif. From the looks, one can easily understand the audience for which the film has been made.
Directed by Anurag Basu, Jagga Jasoos is a comedy designed in a Disney format with live animation and texture. Ranbir will be seen playing a detective who is in search of his father when he meets Katrina on the way. Interestingly, Ranbir is also the producer of the film, making this his debut production venture.
The film's team has already declared Pritam, the music director of the film, to be the key element as his music is the soul that carries the story forward and even narrates the emotions to the audience.
The antics of Ranbir will surely evoke chuckles and the chemistry between the leads will give out feels of Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani and even give out vibes from Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events.
The first trailer has got the kid in us hooked and let's hope this combination of Disney meets Bollywood goes in favour of the film. Jagga Jasoos is all set to release on July 17, after spending nearly three years in production. It also brings now split couple, Ranbir, and Katrina onscreen for the third time after Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani and Raajneeti.
