Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collections Day 5: Prabhas film has passed the Monday test with flying colours.

Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collections Day 5: The success of Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone at the box office continues to defy expectations, with the film scoring a record-breaking collection on Monday. As per early estimates, Kalki 2898 AD grossed around Rs 84 crore-plus worldwide on the fifth day of its release.

According to Sacnilk.com, Kalki 2898 AD collected over 34.6 crore net in India on Monday for all languages. While its worldwide collection was in the range of Rs 45-50 crore (as per bollymoviereviewz.com), taking its total collection to over Rs 635 crore. The final box office collections are awaited.

Earlier, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD shared that the film grossed Rs 550 crore globally in its opening weekend. Kalki 2898 AD, released on June 27 in India, opened to a staggering Rs 191 crore.

Kalki 2898 AD created history at the box office by becoming the third biggest opener in Indian cinema as it earned massive Rs 191 crore globally on its opening day. With its huge day 1 collection, Kalki 2898 AD surpassed the global opening records of KGF 2 (Rs 159 crore), Salaar (Rs 158 crore), Leo (Rs 142.75 crore), Sahoo (Rs 130 crore) and Jawan (Rs 129 crore). RRR still remains the highest Indian opener with Rs 223 crore collections, followed by Baahubali 2 which grossed over Rs 217 crore on its opening day.

Even though Prabhas’ action sequences in the first half lack energy, he stuns all with his fierce avatar in the second half of the film. His face-off with Amitabh surely deserves a special mention and is one of the major highlights of the film.”
