Veteran actor Mammootty recently unveiled the trailer for the much-awaited film Secret, the directorial debut of acclaimed writer SN Swamy. The film, which stars Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, has already created a lot of buzz with its gripping narrative and suspense elements.
Mammootty unveiled the trailer while shooting for his new film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Both Mammootty and Gautham Menon were present at the trailer launch.
A special screening of Secret was held at the Chennai Prasad Lab Theatre. Top filmmakers from Tamil Nadu had come to watch the special screening of Secret organised by Tamil Nadu Filmmakers Association and Tamil Nadu Directors and Writers Association.
Directors Priyadarshan and Perarash, actors Ravi Maria, Thambi Ramaiah and Thalaivasal Vijay, director Balasekaran, director Saravana Subbaya, screenwriter V Prabhakar, director Ganesh Babu, director and actor Chitra Laxmanan, TK Shanmukha Sundaram, director Sai Ramani, screenwriter Ajay Bala and many others had come to watch the special screening of the film.
Guests also expressed their opinion that Secret has a new theme that attracts the audience more than other films. The preview of Secret was received with enthusiasm by the Tamil film fraternity. After the screening, Secret’s director and screenwriter SN Swamy was honoured by the Tamil film community.
The trailer of Secret offers a glimpse of a gripping story that revolves around the theme of omens. Dhyan Sreenivasan plays the lead character who is gifted with the unique ability to foresee future events. The plot follows his journey as he, along with his friends, tries to unravel the mystery behind his prophetic visions. The moody music by Jakes Bejoy further enhances the intense and suspenseful atmosphere of the trailer.
SN Swamy is best known for scripting several brilliant thrillers like the CBI series, Irupatham Nottandu, August 1, Moonnam Mura, Naduvazhikal, Kalikkalam, Adikurippu and Dhruvam. The last film he penned was CBI 5: The Brain. Mammootty, Anoop Menon, Sudev Nair, G Suresh Kumar and others acted in this film. CBI 5 failed to do justice to Swamy’s writing. As per the audience, the script and the storytelling style were too weak, failing to hold the audience’s attention.
