Based on Mahesh Elkunchwar's play Sonata, the film explores the mid-life crisis of three unmarried working women - Aruna Chaturvedi (professor), Dolon Sen (banker) and Subhadra Parekh (journalist) - living in Mumbai.
The film's trailer subtly deals with their life's complexities - relationships, loneliness and offers a glimpse of solidarity between the three. With an impressive cast and an intriguing modern-day plot, looks like Aparna has weaved another masterpiece of today's time.
