Aranmanai, the horror comedy starring Tamannaah, continues to make waves in India, with Sacnilk.com reporting the film has earned Rs 10 crore since its release. On its opening day, grossed approximately Rs 4.65 crore [Rs 4.15 crore in Tamil and Rs 50 lakh in Telugu]. The film’s second-day earnings across all languages added up to to Rs 6.25 crore nett. Overall, the movie has garnered Rs 10.90 crore in total earnings so far.
Sharing the big numbers on his Instagram Stories, Vijay wrote, “Congratulations on the fabulous response, @tamannaahspeaks! Keep killing it.” The actress re-shared the story and dropped three red heart emojis.

So, when we started seeing each other, I found so much value in having somebody who knows the game, who knows the business, who understands the artistic, the creative, the logistics, the financial, all sides of movie making. Her experience and her good work and good sense really helps me a lot. She brings perspective to many things. Director Sundar C’s latest film Aranmanai 4 released at the cinema halls on May 3. The narrative of the film begins with a lawyer Saravanan (Sundar C) getting the news of his sister Selvi (Tamannaah Bhatia)’s death. Selvi died by suicide after the death of her husband. Saravanan goes to her home to take care of her children. He then realises that the reason behind his sister’s death could not have been suicide. How he unravels the truth behind it with the help of a doctor Maaya (Raashi Khanna) and villagers form the premise of the film.
