Much to the delight of Ariana Grande fans, the singer is all set to rule the charts with her brand new album. The singer, who was on hiatus from the music industry, has now announced that her upcoming studio album will be released in 2024. She shared about her latest album with a series of pictures on her social media handle on Wednesday, and her fans can’t seem to be calm about it.
Taking to Instagram, Ariana Grande shared a carousel of photos and videos, along with the caption, “See you next year.” In the pictures, several polaroid shots can be seen lying across the floor while in the next, she scribbled “See you next year” with red lipstick on a piece of paper. Other images include rare glimpses from her most recent studio sessions. Surprisingly, in one of the stills, the singer can be seen crying while giving a thumbs-up.

Among the other photographs and videos in the carousel are a screengrab from a FaceTime call and a video of her mother, Joan Grande, dancing to what can be assumed was an unreleased song from the latest album. The final clip in the post is a video featuring the singer lying on a couch underneath a blanket as someone asks her if it’s “almost the last day of the album.” Ariana replies, “I’m so tired. I’m so happy — I’m grateful. I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons, I can’t move, it’s impossible.”
The singer’s mother, Joan Grande commented on the post saying, “I love you so much…I’m screaming.”
Many of her fans shared their excitement. Some exclaimed, “She is back,” “2024 is your year.” Others said, “Last slide is making me EMO!!! Adore you,” “Ari, we’re losing our minds over here,” “The world is not ready for what’s coming.”
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande and her rumoured boyfriend Ethan Slater were spotted on a dinner date just days before Christmas, according to a report by Page Six. A source told the portal, “They had dinner with her dad and family at her family’s favourite Italian restaurant.” The source added that they went to see EthanSlater in his new Broadway musical, Spamalot and mentioned that they love to support each other in their professional lives.
