Kim Go-Eun's Reunion Pic With Yumi's Cells Co-Stars Is Making Fans Nostalgic

South Korean actress Kim Go-Eun treated fans with a sweet surprise on Monday, October 23, when she dropped a picture with her Yumi’s Cells co-stars — Park Jin-Young and Ahn Bo-Hyun on Instagram. Directed by Lee Sang-Yeob, the romantic drama garnered massive popularity upon its release back in 2021. The two-season series made a place in the hearts of K-drama lovers for its unique storytelling and amazing performances. When season 2 concluded last year in July, fans wished for a season 3 reprisal. But until now, there has been no official confirmation. Amidst this, Kim Go-Eun has made Yumi’s Cells lovers nostalgic by posting the adorable snap.

“Long time no see,” captioned Kim Go-Eun on Instagram, indicating that the three reunited after a long period of time. The monochrome photograph captured the actress posing in the middle with Park Jin-Young and Ahn Bo-Hyun on either side. The trio sported beaming smiles on their faces. While Jin-Young gave a subtle wink, Bo-Hyun struck a victory sign pose. Kim Go-Eun simply wrapped her hands around the boys casually.

Agreeing with Kim Go-Eun, Park Jin-Young commented, “It’s been a while.” The happy post soon grabbed the attention of social media users who swamped the comment section with several reactions. “I NEED YUMI CELLS SEASON 3,” claimed one ardent fan of the South Korean show. Another called it the “best reunion”. Unable to control their excitement a third individual wrote, “Omgggg you three”. Others dropped multiple red heart emojis, appreciating the Yumi’s Cells trio.

Yumi’s Cells revolves around the life of an ordinary office-goer named Yumi (Kim Go-Eun). Unlike other shows, this particular K-drama is taken from the perspective of Yumi’s numerous brain cells in her head which control her thoughts, feelings, and actions. It shows how brain cells push us to do something. Apart from Kim Go-Eun, Park Jin-Young and Ahn Bo-Hyun, Yumi’s Cells also stars Lee Yoo-Bi, Jung Soon-Won, Sang-yi Lee, Joo Jong-Hyuk, Shin Ye-Eun, and Mi-Ram.

Speaking of Kim Go-Eun, the actress made her debut in showbiz with the film A Muse for which she received the Best New Actress award. On the personal front, speculations are rife that Kim Go-Eun is secretly married to actor Lee Min Ho. The duo starred in the much-loved 2020 K-drama The King: Eternal Monarch, where their adorable chemistry won hearts. Now, as per a report by Koreaboo, Kim Go-Eun has secretly gotten engaged to Lee Min Ho. Neither the pair nor their respective agencies have however confirmed the news.
