Paresh Rawal is all set to tickle our funny bones yet again as he gears up to reprise his iconic role as Babu Bhaiya in the highly-anticipated Hera Pheri 3. This third installment in the beloved Hera Pheri franchise promises to breathe new life into the story, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what fresh twists and turns await them. In a recent conversation with a prominent media outlet, Paresh Rawal shared insights into the film’s future and his enduring bond with his co-stars.
During an interview with India Today, Paresh Rawal shared, “Agar ye achhi hoti haina [If it turns out to be good], I always have this example of Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The sequel should be like that, radically different. Take a quantum leap and take your character in a different background, a different world. Take the audience also to a different world. That is how it should be. If it comes out like that, fine. But then, let’s see how it works out”
Paresh further spoke about his enduring bond with his co-stars, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. He said, “We respect each other a lot as artists, as human beings, and as friends. They are all secure actors. And we know what we have to do.”
Hera Pheri 3 continues to follow the hilarious misadventures of Raju, Shyam, and Baburao as they get caught up in a funny but risky journey filled with hidden treasure, mix-ups, and crime-solving.
Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal and Neena Kulkarni’s movie Shastry Viruddh Shastry has hit theaters today (November 3). Directed by Nandita Roy, this film is a unique addition to Bollywood, as it tells the tale of grandparents engaged in a battle with their son and daughter-in-law over the guardianship of their grandson. The film also stars Kabir Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Mimi Chakraborty, Amruta Subhash, and Shiv Panditt in pivotal roles.
On the professional front, apart from Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal has a promising roster of projects on his plate. He’s set to star in director Umesh Shukla’s comedy film Aankh Micholi where he shares the screen with Sharman Joshi and Mrunal Thakur. The actor is also set to make an appearance in director Ahmed Khan’s upcoming film, Awara Pagal Deewana 2. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, and others in prominent roles.
