Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt both clinched the prestigious National Award for the Best Actress for their outstanding performances in Mimi and Gangubai Kathiawadi, respectively. The grand National Award ceremony in Delhi saw the presence of both these talented actresses, with Alia being accompanied by her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor.

During the event, Kriti was seated beside Allu Arjun, who was honoured with the Best Actor Award for his remarkable performance in Pushpa: The Rise. The camaraderie among these stars was evident as they exchanged warm greetings.

As they bid farewell, Alia and Kriti exchanged heartfelt congratulations. Ranbir Kapoor hugged Kriti warmly and congratulated her on the big win. Alia smiled at them and walked ahead, later posing with Kriti for the photojournalists. Ranbir was also seen greeting Allu Arjun. The video capturing the moment, is now going viral on the internet. As Alia Bhatt graced the event’s red carpet at the 69th National Film Awards Ceremony, fans couldn’t help but admire the outfit she had selected for the day. For this big occasion, she chose to wear the same elegant ivory saree that she had worn during her wedding back in 2022. Kriti looked stunning in a white saree too. Allu Arjun, too, opted for off-white. He looked charming in a bandhgala. Ranbir, there to support wife Alia, chose a black bandhgala.

As Alia walked up on stage, hubby dearest Ranbir was seen proudly filming her memorable moment. Seated in the audience behind Waheeda Rahman, Ranbir was seen holding up his phone and recording as she made her up to the stage to accept the medal and a certificate from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
