Honda Sales Report: Witness Rise in Sales, Sold 9.8k Units in September 2023
The company had registered 8,714 in domestic sales and exported 2,333 units in September’22.

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), a premium car manufacturer in India hitting the headlines for all the positive reasons, a big credit goes to the newly launched Elevate, which gave a big boost to sales last month.

While revealing the details of monthly domestic sales figures, Honda informed it has sold more than 9,860 units last month, which forced the business to grow by 13 percent as compared to the same month last year.  The company also informed that export numbers for HCIL during the month also have grown by 1,310 units.

Commenting about the positive sales figures, the company’s Director, of Marketing and Sales, Yuichi Murata said  “Honda Cars India is amid an exciting phase with the launch of the all-new Honda Elevate. The new SUV has emerged as a frontrunner and is contributing significantly to the sales momentum during this festive season. The Honda City and Amaze also continue to perform well in their respective segments.”

He further added, “The auto industry is experiencing strong demand at the beginning of the festive season. With an extended festive period this year, we expect this momentum to continue, which is very encouraging.”

Meanwhile, Honda has launched the mid-size SUV Elevated last month at the starting price of Rs 11 Lakh (ex-showroom). While the top model goes up to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).

The vehicle has been developed under the grand concept of Urban Freestyler, and is powered by 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine, generating a max output of 119 bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque.
