India continued their excellent start to the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 as they outclassed Pakistan for their third straight win of the tournament. India put up an all-round show in front of a capacity crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium as Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer struck half-centuries after a superb bowling display led by Jasprit Bumrah.
Pakistan were bundled out for 191 in 42.5 overs after being 155/2 at one stage when Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan had built a fine partnership and India were hunting for a breakthrough.

Babar ad had brought up a measured half-century and it seemed Pakistan will put up a good total. Enter Mohammed Siraj and he cleaned up Babar on 50.
Kuldeep Yadav left Pakistan in deep trouble with two wickets in an over before Bumrah magic took over as they lost eight wickets for just 36 runs.

India on the other hand have improved their NRR from 1.500 to 1.821.
Defending champions England are fifth with two points from as many games followed by Bangladesh at sixth.
Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, Australia and Afghanistan are yet to win having played two matches each.
The Indian team now has a break of four days before they take on Bangladesh in Pune while Pakistan, who suffered their first defeat of the tournament, next face Australia in Bengaluru on October 20.
