The prelims recruitment results for the role of a Probationary Officer have been declared by the State Bank of India on November 21. These exams took place on November 1, 4 and 6. The candidates who successfully cleared the prelims exam have qualified for the next stage and can appear for the SBI PO mains exam 2023. It is scheduled to start today, December 5. The SBI PO mains have been designed to assess the candidates comprehensively. Clearing this stage will help you qualify for the interview.
The SBI PO mains is an online exam that is categorised into two main parts – objective and descriptive. The total time allotted for the test is three hours. The objective sections carry 200 marks and will test your knowledge and analytical skills. The descriptive test follows immediately after, accounting for a total of 50 marks. This section includes an essay and a letter.
What items should candidates carry to the exam centre?
Here is a list of items that the candidates must carry to their exam halls for their mains exam –
— Make sure you have your Prelims and Mains call letters.
— Carry the required stationary including a few blue or black ballpoint pens.
— Carry your identification proof with you. Make sure it is a government-approved one like an Aadhar Card or PAN card.
— A coloured photograph must also be with you as you move to your exam centre.
What are the exam guidelines for the SBI PO mains 2023?
Here is a list of guidelines that candidates must adhere to while appearing for their mains –
— Candidates must be punctual and report to their exam centres on time along with their admit cards. Late comers will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
— Your signature must not be in capital letters and should match the signature uploaded by you earlier. A discrepancy in signatures could lead to disqualification from the examination.
— Obey the examiners and invigilators and follow their instructions carefully.
— Things including phones, calculators, books, notebooks, notes and slide rulers will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
— Candidates must use the provided sheets for rough work and not anything else. They will be required to submit the sheets once the exam ends.
— For the facility of scribe, candidates will be asked to submit a declaration form that can be downloaded from the bank’s official website.
— Refrain from unfair means during the exam as it will lead to disqualification.
