The two-wheeler maker Bajaj Chetak, which has been ruling the fuel-powered scooter segment over the decades, again gearing up to create a buzz in the EV segment by introducing the updated Chetak e-scooter in India.
Ahead of the official launch, the upcoming e-scooter has been spied on many times during the testing phase, revealing some of the important details about the design, styling and key features. The company has not shared any official details regarding the same as yet. However, it is believed the company might drop some hints in the upcoming days or weeks.

The electric two-wheeler will come with a proper LED headlight setup, featuring chrome finish style elements at the front, an integrated turn indicator, and stylish front rear view mirrors on both sides near the handle. Apart from this, it also has been reported that the updated electric scooter will come with improved seating arrangements, features, and better-built quality compared to the existing models.

Talking about the power figures, the new Bajaj Chetak e-scooter will be powered by a 2.9kWh battery setup, linking with a new hub-mounted motor, which will generate a decent output.

While the current model comes at the starting price of Rs Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It has been reported that the latest version will not make a hole in the customer’s pocket as it will hit the market at a lesser price compared to the ongoing model.
