11. Armur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Nizamabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Armur falls in Nizamabad district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,63,065 voters in the seat, which includes 76,767 male voters, and 86,294 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Armur recorded a voter turnout of 76.41%. In 2014 the turnout was 74.3%.
In 2014, Ashannagari Jeevan Reddy of TRS won the seat by a margin of 13,964 (10.28%). Ashannagari Jeevan Reddy secured 49.74% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, TRS led in the Armur Assembly segment of the Nizamabad Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
