190. Badwani is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Khargone (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Badwani falls in Badwani district and Malwa Tribal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,35,654 voters in the seat, which includes 1,18,744 male voters, and 1,16,908 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Badwani recorded a voter turnout of 76.65%. In 2013 the turnout was 75.42%, and in 2008 it was 73.95%.
In 2013, Ramesh Patel of INC won the seat by a margin of 10,527 votes (6.25%). Ramesh Patel secured 46.17% of the total votes polled.
