Bhopal: Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh said in Bhopal on Tuesday that Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office bearers must be debarred from owning IPL teams, to avoid conflict of interest, but the show must go on.
In a tweet, the Congress General Secretary said that IPL had helped cricket as well as cricketers.
Those involved in match-fixing must be punished but teams should not be be suspended, Singh said, adding that BCCI chief N Srinivasan must resign.
