Modi had earlier attacked the poll body saying it was not doing its tasks properly.
The EC, however, hit back saying it was not scared of anyone - political party or individual. "The BJP needs to be more mature in its dealings with the EC," Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath said at a press conference.
