New Delhi: Two days after Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh said that Rahul Gandhi would assume a bigger role in party affairs after September, he has denied being relieved of his duties as in-charge of Uttar Pradesh and Assam.
Digvijaya insists that BK Hariprasad has been given interim charge of Uttar Pradesh and Assam only till the July 19 Presidential poll.
The former Madhya Pradesh CM claims that Hariprasad was given temporary charge as he had to be away in the US for his wife's treatment.
